Hamari Gold is a giant decorative with wavy golden bronzey orange petals that sparkle like glitter in the sunshine. For a dinner plate dahlia I was surprised at how many flowers it pumped out. A lovely variety to add to your collection!

A UK variety bred by Pi Ensum in 1984.

It is a beautiful garden and show bench variety but not the greatest cut flower with a vase life of 3 days.

TERMS & CONDITIONS/IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

PRESALE CONDITIONS: Presale means tubers are being prepurchased for the following season. This is a great way of securing varieties, building stock, but does come with risk. As the seller we take on all risk up to the point of shipping, here being tuber loss due to unforseen circumstances. As the purchaser, your risk is that your purchased varieties suffer unforseen loss, in which case we will contact you directly to arrange a solution, such as variety swap or refund.

2025 SHIPPING: Dahlia tuber shipping is a flat rate of $20 for up to 20 tubers. Please select 'Dahlia Tuber Flat Rate' shipping profile at checkout. Our dahlia tubers begin shipping from mid September and you can expect your tubers to arrive during late September to mid October. Different dahlia varieties 'wake up' at different times and shipping dates will reflect this.

We cannot ship to WA, NT & Tas for biosecurity reasons.

FARM PICKUP: Apologies but we will not be offering farm pickup for the 2025 season for family reasons.

UPON RECEIPT: Unpack your tubers immediately. You should endeavour to plant your tubers as soon as possible. This may be potting them up and keeping them safe until you're ready to plant out in your garden. Shipping bads and medium are not intended for long term storage.

VIABILITY: We do not divide our tubers until late winter to early Spring to ensure the best possible storage during their winter dormancy. Only tubers with eyes showing/obvious shoots will be posted. All tubers posted are verified viable, aka, have a shoot or actively growing eye.

MISLABELS: Our dahlias are labelled in the field while in flower to avoid mislabeled tubers. If you have received an incorrectly labelled tuber, please email us to arrange a solution. Usually, a solution is a replacement tuber sent to you for the correct variety that you initially ordered.

REFUNDS POST SHIPPING: Given the nature of the product, we cannot offer refunds after shipping. The only exception to this is a truly blind tuber - our way of not sending you a blind tuber is ensuring every tuber sent has a prominent eye or shoot. If one has slipped through the cracks, please contact us via email as soon as possible. We will happily arrange a solution for any tuber mislabels (see above), but we do not hold liability once tubers have been shipped.

Please get in touch via email if you have any questions, we're more than happy to help out on your dahlia growing journey!

Thank you so much for supporting our little family farm.
