Betty Howell is a rich, velvety navy sweet pea bred by Justin Howell in Tasmania, Australia. I was surprised how floriferous it was, pumping out the blooms for weeks and weeks. Highly recommend trying this new Aussie bred variety!

All sweet pea seeds are grown right here on the farm in the NSW Southern Highlands. Seed freshly harvested December 2025 and January 2026.

Sweet Pea is a beautiful cool hardy annual flower that climbs to over 180cm tall. It is one of the most nostalgic and beautiful flowers you can grow and it is a true favourite here at Three Dogs Flower Farm. 

HOW TO GROW: Sow seeds directly into a well prepared garden bed in autumn to mid winter. Do not soak seeds prior to planting. Cover seeds with 5-8mm soil. Do not overwet soil prior to germination or seeds will rot. Alternatively, you can sow into cells and plant out into the garden as seedlings.
