Japanese Anemone / Windflower 'Baby Pink Single' (Eriocapitella hupehensis)

Windflower, or Japanese Anemone, is one of the treasures of the autumn garden. A clump-forming herbaceous perennial the spreads by underground stolons. Plant it where you don't mind it being a bit of a thug and taking over a bit of space. Very easy to propagate from divisions.

This variety is tall and graceful with masses of flowers in the sweetest babydoll pink. An excellent cut flower, or just enjoy the full display in your garden.

I grow mine in mostly full sun, with a bit of western sun protection. It is mostly rain fed, but I'll pop the hose on it then it goes crispy during a heatwave. Very robust!
